Hey! I’m Andrea Ortega.

I trained as an official guide at ROC van Amsterdam, where I learned not only to master the academic side, but also how to share culture and heritage in a relatable way. Additionally, I’ve taken specialized courses on Dutch architecture and polder engineering, a subject I’m passionate about and hope to explore even more in the future within guided tours.

But beyond facts and dates, I believe a great tour is one where you laugh, enjoy yourself, and take home a personal memory. That’s why my tours are always full of anecdotes, curiosities, and that touch of humor that makes history alive rather than boring.

When I’m not guiding, I love exploring small towns in search of hidden corners, trying new craft beers, and sharing everyday life with my family and friends. I bring all of this into my work too, because I believe traveling is not just about seeing monuments, but truly feeling the local culture.
